Scope of usage: DSC measures enthalpy changes in samples due to changes in their physical and chemical properties as a function of temperature or time: melting behaviour, crystallization and nucleation, polymorphism, liquid-crystalline transitions, phase diagrams and composition, glass transitions, reactivity, reaction kinetics, curing, stability, miscibility, effects of plasticizers, thermal history, heat capacity and heat capacity changes, reaction and transition enthalpies, purity.

Examples of application for polymer analysis / information that can be obtained by this method for polymers: Suitable for study of: thermoplastics, thermosets, elastomers, composites, glues, drugs, UV curing systems.

Measurement range: from -80 °C to 600 °C
