A lecture by Prof. Juma, Harvard Kennedy School
On July 10, 2012, Professor Calestous Juma
of Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government held a
lecture “Africa – Opportunities for International Science and Technology
Cooperation” at CE PoliMaT in Ljubljana, Slovenia.
Mr. Juma is a Professor of the Practice of
International Development and Director of the Science, Technology and
Globalization Project at Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government,
Director of the Agricultural Innovation in Africa Project funded by the Bill
and Melinda Gates Foundation, member of several scientific academies
including the Royal Society of London, the US National Academy of Sciences, the
Academy of Sciences for the Developing World (TWAS), the Royal Academy of
Engineering and the African Academy of Sciences.
