CE PoliMaT start-up teams present their ideas
On October 29, 2012, the four CE PoliMaT start-up ideas were
presented to dr. Anthony Margida, Director of Entrepreneurial Services at the
Akron Global Business Accelerator, Terry Martell, Director Operations & Business
Development at the Akron Global Business Accelerator, dr. Zev
Gurion, Executive Director of Akron BioMedical Corridor, Gregg
Cramer, Vice President, Economic Development, Akron Chamber of Commerce, and
Jim Griggy, Business Advisor at the Small Business Development Center.
Mojca Šimnic Šolinc, Commercial
Director and Member of the Board of the Tosama company, a manufacturer of
hygienic products and medical devices and an industrial co-founder of CE
PoliMaT, gave a presentation titled "User friendly solution in wound healing".
Dr. Tanja Rajkovič, Business
development manager at CE PoliMaT, presented "Recycling of wood and biomass waste by liquefaction".
Dr. Jerneja Godnjavec, Researcher
at CE PoliMaT, presented the "nano ZnO" start up idea.
Dr. Miha Devetak, Researcher at CE
PoliMaT, gave a presentation on "Cold neutron beam splitters".
The presentations were followed by
questions and valuable feedback from the audience.
